Police have registered two cases linked to a rent and access dispute involving Lucky Multicuisine Restaurant near Pillar No. 1723 in Madhapur, according to a statement from the Madhapur Station House Officer (SHO). Both cases are under investigation.
The restaurant is run by Mohammed Mansoor, who took the premises on lease from Ravi, Hari and others. Police said the dispute concerns unpaid rent and the use of the premises. Mansoor is alleged to have not paid rent for the past few months.
Following the rent dispute, Ravi, Hari and others allegedly damaged the approach path to the restaurant and blocked access to the premises. A case was registered against them at Madhapur Police Station, and the matter is under investigation.
At about 12.10 am on October 3, 2026, a Madhapur patrol vehicle was on night patrol near the Indian Petrol Pump when Mansoor, his wife and others allegedly came onto the road and obstructed it. Police said the group sat on the road, disrupting traffic and inconveniencing the public.
The group also allegedly obstructed police personnel carrying out their duties, the SHO’s statement said. A separate case was registered at Madhapur Police Station against Mansoor and others. The statement said social media videos were circulating about the matter; it did not provide details supporting claims about the involvement of the Chief Minister’s brother.
The SHO’s statement also said the restaurant’s FSSAI licence was suspended on September 26, 2026, after food-safety and hygiene deficiencies were noted during an inspection. Police said the cases remain under investigation and that “necessary legal action will be taken as per law.”
