    Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma sent heartfelt wishes to the people of Maharashtra and Gujarat as both states celebrated their Foundation Day on Thursday. The celebration took place at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad, where the Governor highlighted the unique strengths and contributions of the two states.

    He praised Maharashtra for its economic strength and deep spiritual roots. He also recognized Gujarat as a land of bold leadership, business innovation, and strong cultural values.

    The Governor spoke about the importance of the “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat” initiative, which promotes national unity and cultural harmony across India. He noted that even though Maharashtra and Gujarat were formed in 1960 based on language, their combined efforts continue to support India’s national integration.

    The event included special video messages from Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat. Traditional dance and music performances from both states brought energy and color to the celebration.

    Among the guests were M Dana Kishore, Principal Secretary to the Governor; G Pallavi, Deputy Secretary; Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat; Rajendra Nimje; Sunitha Bhagawat; and Patil Sangramsingh Ganpat Rao, Additional Director General at the Centre for Good Governance. Senior officials from Raj Bhavan and notable personalities from both states also attended the event.
