A man from Andhra Pradesh named P Sribala Vamshi Krishna was arrested by Cyberabad police for defrauding women he met on matrimonial websites. The man created a fake profile on ‘Shaadi.com’ pretending to be someone else and convinced the victims to increase their CIBIL scores by taking loans for a US partner visa.

Krishna convinced one victim and her cousin to share their banking credentials with him. He then took loans totaling Rs 2.71 crore and cheated them. The police have arrested Krishna, but his accomplice, Nirmala, is currently missing. In total, Krishna has nine cases registered against him in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.

The accused, identified as a 37-year-old man from Vijayawada district, pretended to be an assistant director at a pharma company on the matrimonial website. He targeted women on the website and tricked them into sharing their banking details. The police are investigating the case further to bring justice to the victims of this fraud.
