Man arrested for trespassing at BJP MP DK Aruna’s residence

Hyderabad police arrested a man on Tuesday for breaking into the house of BJP MP DK Aruna in Jubilee Hills.

The accused, Mohammed Akram, is 48 years old and lives in Aman Nagar-B, Talabkatta, Hyderabad. He is originally from Udamsingh Nagar in Uttarakhand. Police revealed that Akram had committed 17 similar crimes in Hyderabad and Delhi.

According to SM Vijay Kumar, DCP West Zone, the police received a complaint on March 16 from DK Aruna’s driver. The driver said that on the night of March 15, he noticed something suspicious and checked the CCTV footage. The footage showed an unknown man wearing a mask climbing over the wall, breaking a kitchen window on the first floor, and entering the house. The intruder cut the CCTV wires, stayed for some time, and then left.

After receiving the complaint, Jubilee Hills police started an investigation. They formed eight teams to track down the suspect. On Tuesday, after checking CCTV cameras, the police found and arrested Akram near his home in Aman Nagar-B.
