Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police arrested a man for the brutal murder of a 44-year-old woman in Yousufguda. The incident took place on September 30.
The arrested person, Shaik Javeed Khan, also known as Aamer Ali, is 34 years old and works as an auto-rickshaw driver. He lives in Usha Kiran Arcades Apartment in Vidyanagar.
The victim, Sudharani, was a resident of Navodaya Colony in Yousufguda. On October 8, police caught Javeed near Kranthi Nagar Colony in Chengicherla.
During questioning, Javeed admitted to killing Sudharani. He said his actions were driven by a mix of financial issues, revenge, and personal reasons.
The police found important evidence based on his confession. They recovered a blood-stained knife, stolen jewelry, and documents. They also seized his two-wheeler and car.
