Siddipet: A young man named Ajay from Uttar Pradesh has been arrested by the Siddipet Three Town police for allegedly raping a three-year-old girl. The incident occurred when the girl was playing, and Ajay took her away under the pretext of playing with her. He was caught by the police while trying to escape within 24 hours of committing the crime.
According to CI Vidyasagar, a case of rape and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) has been registered against Ajay. He had come to the building where the victim’s family lived for a painting job. The victim’s family, who are from Nepal, were staying on the premises as the girl’s grandfather worked as a watchman there.
The watchman was living on the premises with his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and his three-year-old granddaughter. After the incident, the family lodged a complaint with the police, leading to Ajay’s arrest. The young girl has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
