Text Size: 100%

A man named Nagaraju allegedly tricked several people by promising them double-bedroom flats in Gachibowli. He claimed that these flats were part of a special housing scheme for Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.

To make his scam believable, Nagaraju pretended to be a government employee working at the local Collector’s office. He asked each victim to pay amounts ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹65,000.

After collecting the money, Nagaraju started avoiding the people he had deceived. When the victims realized they would neither get the flats nor their money back, they approached the police for help.
