    Hanamkonda: MP Kadiam Kavya and MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy have urged everyone to work together to make Telangana a drug-free state. They attended an awareness seminar on Wednesday focused on controlling the use of ganja and other narcotic substances. The event was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra and the Anti-Narcotics Bureau at Vaagdevi Engineering College in Bollikunta.

    During the seminar, the leaders explained that the government is taking strict actions to prevent the use and illegal transportation of drugs. They stressed that the seminar aimed to educate people about the harmful effects of consuming substances like ganja and other narcotics.

    The MP and MLA highlighted the importance of such awareness programs in protecting public health. They noted that these initiatives help prevent individuals, especially youth, from falling into drug addiction. They also called for more programs to educate the public about the dangers of drugs and intoxicants.

    The leaders warned that habits like drug use or consuming gutkha can lead to serious health problems. These habits not only put lives at risk but also cause immense distress to families. At the end of the event, the college management honored the guests by presenting them with shawls.
