Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Department of Women Education is hosting a lecture on “Women’s Law and Empowerment” on Wednesday. The invited speaker is Dr Anita Sable from Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad. Prof Tabrez Ahmad will preside over the event, with Prof Afroz Alam as the special guest.
In addition, the Department of Arabic is organizing a two-day National Seminar on “Arab’s Travelogues to India in 19th and 20th Centuries: Artistic Depiction and Cultural Understanding” on March 06 & 07. Prof Syed Alim Ashraf Jaisi is the seminar Director, with Prof Syed Kafeel Ahmad Qasmi and Prof Hasnain Akhtar as guests of honour. Prof Habibullah Khan will be the keynote speaker for the inaugural session.
