The Dr. MCR HRD Institute in Hyderabad has launched a new training course for Egyptian commercial diplomats. This course focuses on foreign trade and investment. It started on August 12 and is sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs under the ITEC programme.

Dr. Shashank Goel, the Director-General of the institute, was the chief guest at the course’s opening. He shared that international trade allows countries to reach larger markets beyond their own borders. This helps increase demand for their goods and services, leading to higher production and economic growth. Similarly, foreign investment brings in outside capital for new projects, technology, business expansion, and better infrastructure, creating jobs and increasing income levels.

It focuses on identifying products and services for export, especially in the pharma, food processing, automobile, and IT sectors. It also covers export and import procedures, the role of e-commerce in cross-border trade, and developing negotiation skills for dealing with foreign partners.
