    Air Commodore Pankaj Jain, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Hakimpet, thanked the media for their important service to the country and society. He urged them to help in highlighting the positive efforts of the armed forces. This was said during a media interactive session organized by the Indian Air Force (IAF) to improve communication and collaboration with the media.

    The session took place at Hakimpet and was attended by 40 media personnel. It focused on explaining the functioning of various air force training establishments such as IAF Station Hakimpet, IAF Academy Dundigal, IAF Station, and IAF Station Bidar. The aim was to foster transparency and enhance communication between the IAF and the media.

    The representatives from different air bases shared their roles and responsibilities, as well as key aspects of air power and the IAF’s pursuit of self-reliance. They also discussed the IAF’s involvement in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief missions. The media had the opportunity to interact with personnel from different branches and streams and witness flying operations at Hakimpet. The event successfully achieved its objectives of creating awareness, building mutual understanding, and establishing lasting relationships.

    In addition to providing specific information about the bases, the session also offered insights into the rich history of the IAF, its critical capabilities, achievements, and its role in nation-building.
