Meru International School in Hyderabad recently hosted the Meru Summer Championship 2024 on May 30th and 31st. The event featured 37 football teams from 29 academies and 8 townships, highlighting outstanding talent and sportsmanship.
Participants showcased their skills across different age groups and disciplines during the championship. The competition was intense as teams brought their best game to the field.
In the Boys U-12 category, Unique Football Academy emerged as the champions, with Gachibowli Football Club and Let’s Football Academy following closely. Gachibowli Football Club also secured victory in the Boys U-14 category, with Let’s Football Academy and IFC as the runners-up. Let’s Football Academy triumphed in the Girls U-12 category, while My Home Jewel Team and Pearson Academy took the top positions. My Home Jewel Team dominated the Girls U-14 category, with Pearson Academy finishing as the runner-up.
The championship not only provided a platform for young athletes to showcase their talents but also promoted a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship among all participants.
