The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) has released a Telugu campaign song called ‘Bahujanam’ to attract voters, especially those who speak Telugu. This move is aimed at connecting with voters in Telangana, where the Telugu language is very important. The song was released by Majlis Bahujan Wing. Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of the party, hopes to reach out to Telugu-speaking communities through this cultural and linguistic initiative.

The music video features Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi, the MIM Assembly floor leader, on the campaign trail. The song praises the party’s efforts to improve the lives of people in the state and emphasizes AIMIM’s principles of social justice, equality, and representation for all sections of society, regardless of their linguistic or cultural backgrounds.

The lyrics of the song highlight the importance of community cooperation and use the term ‘Bahujan’ to refer to a group of people that includes Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Muslims, and minorities. The lyrics convey the message that if they stay united, they will be recognized as ‘Bahujans’ rather than being seen as individuals. The song encourages everyone to walk together in order to bring about positive change in their lives.
