The President of AIMIM in Kodangal constituency is speaking out against illegal sand mining in the area. He claims that the police, revenue department, and district administration are not taking action against the sand mafia.

According to the AIMIM President, there is rampant smuggling of sand happening in broad daylight in Kodangal. Many vehicles like tractors, tippers, and lorries are transporting sand illegally from Kodangal to Tandoor. This illegal activity involves vehicles from distant regions as well, not just local ones.

The AIMIM President has highlighted that this surge in illegal sand mining has occurred in the past few months, contrasting the relatively peaceful previous years. He criticized the lack of enforcement measures by authorities, including the police, Tahasildar, and district collector.

The President also mentioned that drivers of these illegal vehicles often show outdated permissions or claim to have bribed officials. He believes this reflects a failure in governance and law enforcement in the constituency.
