Mancherial: The government is committed to improving public welfare, according to Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. On Sunday, he, along with Ministers Damodar Rajanarasimha, Jupally Krishna Rao, and Duddilla Sridhar Babu, opened a new 30-bed Community Health Center in Laksettipet Mandal.

The center was constructed with Rs 8.5 crore from government funds and Rs 1 crore from Singareni. Bhatti mentioned that they are striving to enhance healthcare services quickly and efficiently.

Additionally, a government junior college and high school were established in the Mandal center with Rs 10.2 crore from CSR and DMFT funds. Bhatti spent time interacting with students and checking out classrooms, mid-day meals, and the overall school environment.

In Rebbanapalli village, Dandepally Mandal, he initiated the construction of a solar power plant. This plant will be situated on four acres in Andugulapet (Velganur), costing Rs 3 crore, with 90% funded by bank loans and 10% by village groups. It is expected to produce 4,500–5,000 units per day, generating Rs 51 lakh annually.

In Narsingapur village, a 900-meter CC road is being constructed with Rs 1.63 crore in CSR funds. Four Panchayat buildings are being built with Rs 80 lakh under MGNREGA, and four Anganwadi centers with Rs 48 lakh. Lakshmipur village received Rs 1 crore from the SC Special Development Fund for roads and drainage. In Chinagopalpur and Rally villages in Hajipur Mandal, Rs 2.5 crore from ST/SC development funds was used for infrastructure improvements.

A Rs 30 crore IT/Industrial Park is being developed over 212 acres near Vempalli and Pochampahad. Bhatti emphasized the government’s goal to economically empower one crore women by providing interest-free loans totaling Rs 20,000 crore annually. In the first year, Rs 21,632 crore has already been disbursed. Interest-free loans for women’s groups are being distributed across the state from July 12 to 20, announced the Deputy Chief Minister.
