Hyderabad: Minister Harish Rao stated that the state is experiencing growth with all-round development using sustainable resources. The state has witnessed a remarkable 7.7% increase in green cover, thanks to the visionary program Haritha Haram initiated by Chief Minister KCR. The Chief Minister, who is a true environmentalist, has been discussing comprehensive and sustainable development. Telangana proudly announces to the world what it can do for its environment.
As part of Haritha Haram, 14,864 nurseries and 19,472 natural forests have been set up in the state. So far, we have regenerated forests on a total of 13.44 lakh acres and planted 273 crore seedlings.
Telangana is setting an example for the rest of the world by focusing on sustainable development and environmental conservation. The state government is committed to further increasing the green cover and preserving nature for future generations.
