In Jogulamba Gadwal, a significant spiritual event, the Pancha Kunda Rudra Pashupata Homam, commenced today. Minister for Endowments Konda Surekha initiated the ceremony by lighting the lamp. She stressed the importance of such events and promised to address the concerns of temple priests.
Minister Surekha committed to advocating for increased salaries and better benefits for priests with the Chief Minister. Her pledge was positively received by those present, especially the priests.
She emphasized the importance of organizing spiritual and cultural programs in all districts to benefit and guide the youth. Such rituals, she noted, help preserve spiritual traditions and promote social harmony.
The event was organized by State President Vasudeva Sharma, Jogulamba Gadwal District President, and committee member Chakravarthi Charyulu. Vedic scholars and Ritwiks led the rituals with great devotion and grandeur.
The first day featured an impressive fire ritual, marking the start of the ceremonies. The careful execution ensured the day was a spiritual triumph.
Organizers announced that MLAs, MPs, and Ministers from various districts would join the next day’s rituals, enhancing the event’s significance.
