Hyderabad: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has instructed district Collectors to address all valid land-related requests by August 15. This deadline is part of efforts to settle the state’s ongoing land concerns.
During a meeting at the Secretariat with newly appointed Collectors, Minister Reddy explained that many families in villages across Telangana face land issues. These problems arose from mistakes in the previous government’s Dharani portal. He urged Collectors to use the new Bhu Bharati Act to resolve these issues.
Reddy stressed that handling applications from the Bhu Bharati Revenue Committee meetings should be the top priority. He aims to ease the difficulties farmers faced with land matters under the past administration. The next two months are critical for the Revenue Department, he noted. All valid applications must be settled by the mid-August deadline. The Minister emphasized the significant role of Collectors in applying government programs effectively to reach everyone eligible. He encouraged Collectors to operate according to the government’s commitment to meeting the people’s expectations.
