Gadwal: A public seminar to raise awareness about the Bhu Bharati (Land) Act will take place on Saturday at the Dharur mandal headquarters. The event will feature the Hon’ble Minister for Revenue, Housing, Information & Public Relations, Sri Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, as the chief guest.
Ahead of the minister’s visit, Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, District Superintendent of Police Srinivasa Rao, and District Collector B.M. Santhosh visited the venue near the Dharur Tahsildar’s office to check the preparations.
Collector Santhosh reviewed the arrangements and told officials to make sure that farmers attending the event are comfortable. He asked them to set up drinking water stations and ensure proper seating, tents, and a working sound system. He also requested a special area for the media and urged officials to have backup power through generators in case of electricity problems. Additionally, he stressed the need for a separate parking area to avoid traffic congestion at the venue.
Additional Collector Lakshminarayana, RDO Srinivasa Rao, Tahsildar Bhupal Reddy, and other officials were also present during the inspection. The Collector asked all departments to work together smoothly to make the event a success.
