Minister Ponnam Prabhakar reports Gouravelli Project is underway

Ponnam Prabhakar, a government minister, shared updates on the Gouravelli project during his visit to Mallaram in the Bhimadevarapalli area of Hanumakonda district. He laid the foundation for a new anganwadi center and opened a panchayat office in Veerlagadda Thanda.

The minister announced that the government has set aside Rs. 25 crores to buy land in Hanumakonda district. Out of this, Rs. 10 crores have already been spent on the NTT case. He promised that the Gouravelli project would soon be completed, benefiting local farmers with improved water access.

Prabhakar criticized the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi, accusing them of trying to stir up trouble among farmers. He mentioned his party’s plan to run in the upcoming local elections with a goal of achieving a 42 percent reservation. He also committed to urging the central government to ensure this reservation is secured.
