MEDCHAL: Minister Sridhar Babu announced that 40,000 ration cards have been issued in the Medchal Assembly area. An additional 60,000 will be given out after all applications are thoroughly checked.
During a public event, the Minister criticized the former Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government. He claimed people had to visit ‘Mee Seva’ centers repeatedly without success in obtaining ration cards, often until their shoes were worn out.
He emphasized the Congress government’s dedication to welfare. The Minister assured that the six key promises from the elections are being honored. “We offer welfare schemes to all, irrespective of political party ties,” he stated.
Plans for new skill universities were also unveiled. These institutions will focus on providing students with technical education to boost their career opportunities.
The event saw the presence of Additional Collector Vijayender Reddy, former MLA Sudheer Reddy, party constituency in-charge Vajresh Yadav, and numerous party leaders and officials.
