Nalgonda: Minister for Roads, Buildings, and Cinematography, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, visited the site of the ongoing Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) construction near Sheshamma Gudem in Nalgonda district on Saturday.

During the inspection, the minister instructed engineers to finish the STP work within one month. He expressed disappointment that, although Rs 38 crore was approved for the project back in 2014, it still hasn’t been completed.

Komatireddy highlighted that 80% of homes in Nalgonda town were connected to the sewerage system about 20 years ago. Areas like Venkateshwara Colony and Raghavendra Colony already have STP connections. He said the remaining 30% of households will also be connected soon.
