Nalgonda: Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that tougher measures will be enforced, including revoking driving licenses if negligence leads to accidents. A new Government Order will require vehicles to have reflective radium stickers on the back. Plans to set up driving training centers are also in progress.

On Saturday, together with Roads & Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, he initiated the construction of an Automated Testing Station building at Dandampalli near Nalgonda, costing Rs 8 crore.

Ponnam highlighted that many accidents result from careless driving or vehicles not being in proper condition. Automated testing stations (ATS) aim to decrease these incidents.
