MLA Alleti Maheshwar Reddy has accused former minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy of making false statements against him regarding the oil palm factory issue. He addressed the media at his residence in Nirmal on Sunday. He pointed out that the Congress party is currently in power in Telangana and questioned how he could block permissions for the factory.

Maheshwar Reddy explained that the factory has not received approvals because 8 acres of the land fall under Full Tank Level (FTL). Additionally, the presence of a wildlife sanctuary in the area has led the forest department to deny permissions. He emphasized that these issues are beyond his control and asked why he was being blamed.

He further alleged that the former minister’s followers and relatives have illegally occupied government land under the pretense of holding D-one Pattas. He stated that he has submitted proof of this to the district collector. According to him, the government is investigating the matter, and necessary actions will be taken soon.

Maheshwar Reddy also claimed that Allola Indrakaran Reddy is trying to push for the factory’s establishment in that location to increase the value of his own land in the area.
