Speaking on the challenges faced by students, the MLA noted that the severe cold weather is making it difficult for hostel students to bathe. To address this, he assured that geysers will soon be installed in the hostels. He added that blankets and rugs are being distributed to students in all welfare and model residential schools in the district.

“The government is committed to providing all necessary facilities to help students study well and achieve their goals,” said Gandra. He highlighted the government’s efforts, such as increasing diet charges by 40% and cosmetic charges by 200%, to support students and meet their needs.
