Hanamkonda, Telangana – A grand religious event took place in Thimmapur village, located in the 43rd division of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation, where the Mudiraj community organized the installation of the Peddamma Thalli idol.
Wardhannapet MLA KR Nagaraju was the chief guest. He began the event by offering special prayers and later joined the rituals for installing the idol of Sri Potharaju Swamy. During the ceremony, he also performed an Abhishekam, a sacred bath ritual for the deity.
Local priests conducted the religious proceedings and offered their blessings to the MLA. Nagaraju thanked the generous donors of the idol, Gampala Neelamma and Balayya, acknowledging their contribution and devotion. He also appreciated everyone involved in building the temple and organizing the event.
The ceremony saw the presence of several community leaders and public figures. Among them were Corporators Aruna Victor, Jalgam Anita, and Ranjith Rao, along with Mandal President Vaddepalli Prakash, Division President Chinta Prakash, and Warangal District YC Vice-President Chevvu Sivarama Krishna.
Many Congress party leaders, activists, and local devotees also took part in the celebration, making it a vibrant and spiritually uplifting gathering for the community.
