MLA Rajesh Reddy Reviews Markandeya Lift Irrigation Project
Nagarkurnool: MLA Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy visited the construction site of the Markandeya Lift Irrigation Project in Bijnapally Mandal on Tuesday. During his visit, he inspected the ongoing work and held a detailed meeting with officials and contractors to assess the progress of the project.
The MLA stressed the need to maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process. He instructed contractors and officials to strictly adhere to these standards to ensure the project’s success.
Rajesh Reddy spoke about the importance of the Markandeya Reservoir, explaining that it is being built to provide irrigation facilities for thousands of acres of farmland in the region. He urged the team to complete the project by December 15 and ensure it becomes fully operational by the deadline.
He also assured the officials and contractors that any obstacles encountered during the construction should be immediately reported to him for timely resolution. The MLA underlined his commitment to addressing any challenges to keep the project on track.
Additionally, Rajesh Reddy highlighted how the project will play a crucial role in transforming the agricultural landscape of the area. He noted that the irrigation facilities will help turn barren lands into fertile farmland, significantly benefiting local farmers and boosting agricultural productivity.
