The Telangana High Court has fined Alail MLA Gongidi Sunita from BRS Rs 10,000. This happened after a petition was filed against her for not disclosing assets and providing false information in the election affidavit. Boreddy Ayodhya Reddy of Alai was involved in this case.

Back in 2018, the High Court expressed its frustration that Sunitha had not filed a counter-petition yet. As a result, she was fined 10,000 and instructed to file a counter by October 3. The hearing has been postponed until October 3.
