BRS MLC K Kavitha has suggested that the state government name the new airport in Warangal after Rani Rudrama Devi. She made this suggestion on Monday while launching a postcard movement to pressure the government into fulfilling promises made to women.

As part of this movement, Kavitha sent 10,000 postcards to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. Speaking to reporters, the Telangana Jagruthi President stated that if the government does not announce the implementation of these promises by March 8, 10,000 women will visit 10,000 villages to collect lakhs of postcards from other women. These postcards will then be sent to Sonia Gandhi.

Kavitha criticized the Congress party, saying that it had gained votes from women by using Sonia Gandhi’s name. She warned that if women feel betrayed, there would be serious consequences. She also accused CM Revanth Reddy of not showing concern for women’s issues.
