MLC Kavitha was hoping to get bail in the Delhi Liquor Scam Case, but the court extended her judicial custody until May 20. The Enforcement Directorate requested the extension due to a supplementary charge sheet with 8 thousand pages.

During a hearing on Tuesday, the ED argued for the extension citing the extensive charge sheet. The court agreed and scheduled another hearing on May 20 to discuss the charges further.

In the Delhi liquor scam case, MLC Kavitha’s judicial custody ended on Tuesday. She appeared in court through a video conference but will remain in custody until at least May 20.
