Adilabad MLC Dande Vithal visited the Somini Errabanda area of Bejjur mandal on Sunday. His visit came after the tragic discovery of two bodies in the Pranahita River. Zahid and Arshad, two of the three youths, had gone missing while swimming in the river on Saturday. Zahid’s body was found in the Talai region the same day.
After receiving the news, MLC Vithal went to the site to assess the situation. He asked the officials to speed up the rescue efforts to find the third missing youth. To help with the search, divers were sent into the Pranahita River.
MLC Vithal stressed the importance of acting quickly and told the authorities to use all available resources to continue the rescue operations.
