Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) is preparing for the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TS EAPCET). This year, a record number of students have registered for the exam, with 54,000 more students in the engineering stream compared to last year. In total, around 3.54 lakh students have registered for both streams.

The exam is scheduled to take place from May 7 to 11, with strict rules about punctuality. Students must arrive on time as they will not be allowed to enter if they are even a minute late. The exam will be held in two sessions, from 9 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 6 pm. A new facial recognition system will be introduced this year, where students’ photographs will be matched with those in their registration forms before they can start the exam.

If needed, students will be provided with another computer system and any lost time will be compensated.
