MoU Inked for $5 Million Investment in WE Hub

Hyderabad: Phani Karra and Greg Walsh of Walsh Karra Holdings, a US-based investment firm, along with Sita Pallacholla, CEO of WE Hub, signed an MoU for a $5 million investment in WE Hub over the next five years.

The signing took place in New York, attended by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Minister of IT E&C, I&C and LA, D Sridhar Babu. They were in the US to seek new partnerships and investments for the state.

Chief Minister Reddy emphasized the importance of women’s entrepreneurship, saying it will unlock Telangana’s full potential. He noted that empowering women is crucial for any society to thrive.

Greg Walsh announced that Walsh Karra Holdings will also invest $100 million in start-ups within Telangana over the next five years. This includes businesses incubated at WE Hub and others, supporting both urban and rural areas.

Phani Karra shared his personal connection to Hyderabad, having studied at Osmania University and begun his career there. His gratitude towards India and Hyderabad motivated him to invest back into the community, and he sees this partnership as a means to make a positive impact.
