Mukul Roy, a leader of the TMC party, said that he went to New Delhi for personal reasons and didn’t have a specific goal. He used to travel to Delhi frequently before he became an MP. On Monday night, he took a flight from Kolkata to Delhi.
However, Roy’s family claimed that he was missing since late Monday night, which sparked rumors about his political intentions. Roy’s son reported him missing to the police and stated that his father was not in the right state of mind to be involved in politics.
