Mumbai Police Gives Stunning Reply to Punjab Kings' Attempt to Troll Mumbai Indians Following Impressive Victory

Punjab Kings won against Mumbai Indians by 13 runs in a thrilling match at the Wankhede stadium. Arshdeep Singh gave just two runs in the final over and knocked down Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera’s stumps to lead Punjab Kings to victory. After the match, Punjab Kings tried to troll Mumbai Indians on social media by tagging Mumbai police and sharing images of the broken stumps, but Mumbai police responded with a witty comment.

Punjab Kings’ stand-in skipper, Sam Curran, won player of the match for his brilliant half-century (55 off 29 balls). He said that the bowlers, especially Arshdeep Singh, deserved the award for their nerves. Punjab Kings scored 214/8 in 20 overs, with Harpreet Singh Bhatia and Jitesh Sharma contributing handsomely in the last six overs. Mumbai Indians put up a good chase, with captain Rohit Sharma scoring 44 and Cameron Green (67) and Suryakumar Yadav (57) in the middle.

However, Arshdeep Singh got Suryakumar Yadav out with a superb delivery and then claimed two wickets off successive deliveries in the final over to defend 15 runs. Punjab skipper Curran said it was a special win made possible by his bowlers. He reflected on his own batting, saying that he waited for the right time to explode into action as he had done that too early in previous matches. He also mentioned that leading the side has been a great experience for him, and the coaches and local guys have created a good, relaxed environment.
