Nagarjuna Sagar is currently handling a significant flood situation. To manage this, officials have opened two of the reservoir’s gates to release water. The water level has reached its peak at 590 feet, and the reservoir is filled to its total capacity of 312.04 TMC.
Recent data shows an inflow of 65,827 cusecs into the reservoir. Meanwhile, the outflow is measured at 60,644 cusecs.
Managing these water levels is essential to ensure the safety and stability of the reservoir during the ongoing floods.
