Hyderabad: Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) is now accepting applications for its PhD programs for the 2024-25 academic year. The programs cover ten fields: Commerce, English, Telugu, Economics, History, Public Administration, Sociology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admissions will rely on a computer-based entrance test and an interview.
Candidates with qualifications like UGC/CSIR-JRF/NET/SLET/SET or an M.Phil. can skip the test but must appear for the interview.
Online registration opens on August 6 and closes on August 30. Late applications will be accepted until September 4, 2025. The entrance test will take place only in Hyderabad, with the date to be announced on the university’s website.
