Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu received a warm welcome from TDP supporters at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad. This was his first visit to the city since becoming Chief Minister. TDP leaders organized a large gathering at the airport and arranged for flower petals to be sprinkled on Naidu’s convoy as he began a roadshow.

Despite heavy rain and traffic restrictions, party leaders and activists conducted a car and bike rally from Begumpet to Naidu’s residence in Jubilee Hills. TDP Telangana unit leaders, led by Arvind Kumar Goud, organized the rally and decorated the route with billboards and buntings to welcome Naidu.

Naidu had previously mentioned his plans to strengthen the Telangana unit of the party, which he believes he developed during his time as Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh. During his visit, he will assess the party’s grassroots strength, discuss launching a membership drive, and work on reviving the party in the state.
