In Hyderabad, the 78th Independence Day was celebrated with a flag hoisting ceremony. Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar raised the national flag at the Telangana Assembly premises on Thursday.
The event was attended by several key figures, including Members of the Legislative, Members of the Council, Legislative Secretary V Narasimha Charyalu, Chief Marshal Karnakar, and various assembly officers and staff.
Before the flag was hoisted, Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, and others paid their respects by laying flowers at the statues of Dr. BR Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi.
