    The president of BJP Kisan Morcha in Telangana, Kondapalli Sridhar Reddy, expressed his happiness about the announcement of the National Turmeric Board. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fulfilling the long-standing dream of turmeric farmers. Reddy mentioned that the BJP government, under Modi’s leadership, has always prioritized the welfare of farmers.

    During his media address, Reddy criticized the remarks made by Congress and BRS leaders against the BJP government’s handling of farmers’ issues. He stated that the BJP government has delivered on its promises thanks to Modi’s dynamic leadership.

    Reddy highlighted the significance of the Turmeric Board for the farmers of Nizamabad district, which is the largest turmeric producer in Asia. These farmers had been eagerly waiting for the establishment of the Turmeric Board in Telangana for more than a decade. Reddy considered this as a golden moment for Telangana’s turmeric farmers.

    He emphasized that the creation of the Turmeric Board would bring great benefits to farmers in Nizamabad, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, and other districts involved in turmeric cultivation. Reddy concluded by stating that this decision showcases Modi’s unwavering support for the farming community.

It also provides farmers with resources, information, and financial support to improve their socio-economic status.
