Hyderabad: The citizens’ Praja Palana program in Telangana has faced mishandling of application forms, with some being used as wastepaper in local restaurants. Over 1.25 crore applications were submitted until January 6, but videos circulating on social media show forms being handled irresponsibly.

In one viral video, a youth carrying a box full of applications dropped them on the Balanagar flyover due to negligence. When people gathered and questioned the youth, he refused to provide any information.

Netizens are now expressing concerns about the handling of Praja Palana forms. BRS’ Krishank shared the video, claiming it is a serious data threat and questioning the anonymous phone calls asking for OTPs. Another netizen shared a photo of forms kept in a cafe, questioning who is accountable for their proper handling.
