The government has introduced a new mobile application called Whatsup to help cotton farmers. This app will make it easier for them to sell their cotton at Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) centres. The idea is to make the selling process smoother and less stressful for farmers.

In the old Khammam district, farmers grow cotton on about four lakh acres of land. To help these farmers, the government has set up 10 CCI centres across the district. The new app will give farmers real-time information, making it easier for them to sell their cotton at these centres.

Farmers can access the app using the number 889728111. Through the app, they can enter details about their cotton and track loading and unloading activities at the CCI centres.
