Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced plans for a new Osmania General Hospital building in Gosha Mahal, Hyderabad. The new hospital will be constructed on a 32-acre site that currently includes the Gosha Mahal Police Stadium and Police Sports Complex. This land will be handed over to the Health Department for the project.

During a recent meeting, Chief Minister Reddy discussed various development projects under the SPEED (Smart Proactive Efficient and Effective Delivery) plan. The new Osmania Hospital is part of this plan, which also includes the establishment of 15 new nursing colleges, 28 new paramedical colleges, and other federal buildings in different districts.

Reddy has instructed architects to design the hospital to meet the city’s needs for the next 50 years. The design should include easy access roads, academic blocks, hostels for nursing staff, and all essential medical services.
