Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced a new statewide program that will begin on September 17 and last for ten days. The main goal of this program is to issue new ration cards and health cards to all eligible citizens in the state.
The Chief Minister clarified that the new ration cards and health cards will be provided separately, and there will be no connection between the two. To distribute these cards, the government will collect necessary details from every family during this ten-day period.
The Chief Minister has instructed officials to make all the necessary arrangements to ensure the program runs smoothly in villages and neighborhoods across the state.
During a meeting held at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister, along with Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha and Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, discussed various steps related to the program. These include issuing digital health cards, organizing medical tests, holding health camps, and ensuring that enough laboratories are available throughout the state.
Chief Minister Reddy also mentioned that the new health cards will be used to access medical services under the Rajiv Aarogyasri scheme. Additionally, these cards will be helpful for receiving assistance through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
