The Commissioner of Police in Hyderabad, CV Anand, held a press conference at the Mini conference Hall in TSICCC building to inform the media about an arrest. According to Anand, the police have seized stolen items including gold, silver, and cash worth approximately Rs 5 crores.

The gang responsible for the theft had been working at the house of a businessman named Rahul Goyal for over five years. The main accused, identified as Shankarmann Singh alias Kamal, has been arrested, but three more accused individuals are still on the run. The police have also confiscated Rs 41 lakhs, 2.8 kilograms of gold, 18 watches, and currency from another country. This is one of the biggest thefts that has occurred recently.

Anand mentioned that swift action was taken by the police as soon as they were informed about the theft. It would have been difficult for them to apprehend the accused individuals in a short period of time since they are from Nepal. Anand emphasized that if the accused had managed to enter Nepal, it would have been impossible to recover the stolen property.
