    No State ceremony for MLA: BRS cadres fume

    Hyderabad: Upset with the State government not taking up the ceremony of Cantonment MLA T Sayanna with state of matter honours, the followers of the BRS MLA stopped the concluding rites for almost two hours raising slogans against the government at the East Marredpally crematorium on Monday.

    The ceremony procession reached the East Marredpally crematorium by about 5 pm on Sunday. The followers of Sayanna went to the rate where his organic structure was kept for cremation and started raising slogans against the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and the government. The followers said that while there were state of matter honours for the photographic film stars but not for a five-time MLA from the weaker sections. They raised slogans demanding state of matter honours to their MLA and also against the government stating that it had insulted the residential district. The followers had claimed that the government had assured them that the ceremony would be done with state of matter honours.

    With large number of things or people getting increased and with sloganeering by the followers, the ministers T Srinivas Yadav, who was overseeing the ceremony arrangements and not the same Minister Ch Malla Reddy and others belonging to the political or intellectual left the premises. Before this, Talasani had tried to pacify the workers but they did not relent.The Deputy Speaker T Padma Rao Goud and MLAs including Mynampally Hanumanth Rao, Maganti Gopinath talked to the kinfolk members and convinced them to let the cremation. Padma Rao told the protestors that they should not insult the departed psyche by stopping the concluding rites. The followers backed off after the interference of the kinfolk members. The kinfolk members urged the followers of Sayanna to sustenance the completion of cremation. After two hours of dissent, the cremation of the MLA was taken up.

    Sayanna, the five-time MLA from Cantonment passed away after a cardiac pick up on Sunday. He was mental or physical pain from diabetes and also bean-shaped excretory organ ailments. He was recently admitted in a personal infirmary after he fell ill. Reportedly, his one of the supports for a piece of furniture was also removed because of contagion and he was also on dialysis.
