NTPC, the energy efficiency department, has won the Golden Peacock award for 2023. The award ceremony took place in Bengaluru on Thursday. Sunil Kumar, the executive director of NTPC, received the award from the Institute of Directors (IOD).
NTPC is known for constructing the largest 100-megawatt floating solar plants in the country. With initiatives like reforestation and green energy, NTPC has shown its talent in sustainable development. This is the third time in the past four years that NTPC has received this award. Ashutosh Kumar, AGM of NTPC Operations, and Munag Vamsi Krishna, Senior Manager, were also present at the event.
