Hyderabad: People from the Telugu community worldwide joyfully marked the 102nd birthday of legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). The celebrations were filled with respect and admiration for the iconic figure.
Many notable personalities from the film industry, politics, family, and fans gathered to honor NTR, a man whose influence spans generations.
Senior writer Paruchuri Gopala Krishna spoke fondly, saying, “Annagaru lives on in the hearts of millions. His roles in mythological films made the gods seem real. From ‘Mana Desam’ to ‘Major Chandrakanth’, his film career was unmatched. NTR is more than an actor; he is a revered presence.”
Nandamuri Mohanakrishna, the son of NTR, shared touching memories. “His birthday is a festival for us. Rising from humble beginnings, he achieved greatness through hard work. As a leader, he supported the poor and launched significant welfare programs. We are grateful to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for officially recognizing his birth anniversary this year.”
