Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy celebrated International Nurses Day at District Government Hospital in Nizamabad on Friday. He praised the nurses for their dedicated service to patients and compared them to Mother Teresa. The minister cut a cake and felicitated many nurses with shawls. He thanked them for their hard work during the Covid pandemic and urged them to continue providing satisfactory services to patients in government hospitals. He also acknowledged that nurses working in private hospitals often work long hours for low wages.
