Oasis Fertility, one of India’s leading fertility care providers, successfully organised the ART Conclave in Khammam in collaboration with IMA Khammam and FOGSI Khammam. The event brought together more than 160 doctors for a comprehensive scientific exchange focused on the latest developments in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). The Continuing Medical Education (CME) initiative aimed to strengthen clinical awareness and equip healthcare professionals with updated insights into evolving fertility treatment approaches.
The conclave witnessed active participation from practising gynaecologists, fertility specialists, and medical professionals from across the region. Distinguished members of the medical community attended the event, including Dr. Rehana Begum, President of IMA Khammam; Dr. Mukkapati Koteswara Rao, Secretary of IMA Khammam; Dr. Kurapati Preethi, Treasurer of IMA Khammam; Dr. Kusumaraju Ravikumar, Elected Member of TGMC; Dr. Surekha Ravulapalli, President of Khammam Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society; Dr. Lokam Geetha, Secretary; and Dr. B.S.V. Dr. Sireesha Karupothula, Consultant Fertility Specialist at Oasis Fertility, Khammam, stated that the field of reproductive medicine is evolving rapidly, making continuous medical education essential for healthcare professionals involved in fertility care. She explained that through the ART Conclave, they sought to create a platform for clinicians to engage with emerging scientific developments, exchange practical insights, and discuss approaches that support more timely and informed patient care. The enthusiastic participation from the medical community in Khammam reflects the growing importance of collaborative learning in advancing fertility care standards.
The scientific programme featured expert-led sessions on key themes in reproductive medicine. Dr. Krishna Chaitanya, Scientific Head at Oasis Fertility, spoke on ‘Normal Is Not Enough: Rethinking Male Fertility Beyond Semen Analysis’, emphasising a more comprehensive approach to male fertility evaluation. Dr. Jalagam Kavya Rao, Regional Medical Head at Oasis Fertility, presented ‘In Vitro Maturation: An Emerging Alternative in Assisted Reproductive Technology’, exploring techniques that could expand treatment options for select patients. Dr. Sireesha Karupothula focused on the importance of timely intervention and multidisciplinary collaboration in helping patients access fertility care at the appropriate stage in their fertility journey.
Participants engaged in interactive workshops and practical demonstrations on IUI procedures, embryology insights, and semen preparation techniques, creating opportunities for hands-on learning and peer-to-peer knowledge exchange. The programme encouraged meaningful discussions around improving fertility care outcomes through evidence-based clinical practice. These sessions provided healthcare professionals with practical skills and updated knowledge to enhance their clinical practice in reproductive medicine.
